BOOK REVIEW: SUN STAND STILL by Steven Furtick

In Hebrews 10:23-24, the writer of Hebrews writes, "Let’s keep a firm grip on the promises that keep us going. [God] always keeps his Word. Let’s see how inventive we can be in encouraging love and helping out..."

Sun Stand Still by Steven Furtick is one of the most encouraging, inspiring and fun books I've read in a while... It's premise is simple: God is great; God is good, and you can believe Him to do the impossible, improbable and audacious in and through your life... You can discover your "Page 23 Vision" - (you'll have to read the book for yourself to learn more about that) and "activate audacious faith" to pray your "sun stand still prayer" in order to achieve the purpose and plan God has for your life!

This book made me want to get out of my chair and go out and DO SOMETHING AMAZING for the glory of God and the cause of the gospel!

It's filled with anecdotes from Steven's life and includes several stories about the amazing journey of Elevation Church. (Only four years old, they've witnessed thousands of decisions for Jesus Christ and are already averaging about 6,000 people in weekend worship attendance! Yeah, God!) But you don't have to be a pastor or church leader to get something out of the book. The book contains principles that apply to every individual regardless of your station or situation in life.

In short, if you need a B-12 vitamin shot or 5 Hour Energy Drink for your faith, pick up a copy! I've really, really enjoyed the book!

Amazingly, right now Amazon.com has the book on sale for only $6.52 per copy (with a limit of 3 copies per person). Click here to learn more... It's worth every penny. In fact, I encourage you to "see how inventive you can be..." Buy three copies of the book and then give them away to a couple of people who need a little "pick me up" to their faith...

Enjoy!
