I first heard this song a couple of years ago while officiating at the wedding of a close friend. He and his wife played the Peter Gabriel version at their wedding. Immediately following the ceremony, I had to ask where to find the song. It blew me away.
Some time ago I ran across this cover by Rose Cousins and Rose Polenzani. Wow. While planning for our current series, I came across this cover again.
I don't know anything about these two girls. But I do know that this cover shows the power of an incredible lyric, beautiful melody and a couple of great voices. I love it.
