Okay, guys and gals... This is it! This Sunday is the FIRST LAUNCH TEAM MEETING of a2 Church!

I know... I know... Maybe you’re asking...

“Chris, what is a launch team?” A “launch team” is a team of committed people – men, women, students, boy and girls – ready and willing to assist the lead pastor in planning, preparing for and executing an effective church launch. Church planting is a “team sport.” There’s no possible way to take this challenge on all alone. People are IMPORTANT.

“But, what if I’m not sure? What if I need more information?” Then the Launch Team Meetings are FOR YOU... We’ll share the vision, mission, values and dream of a2 church... Perhaps in the context of hearing about the activity of God through a2 church you’ll know more about what God is saying specifically to you. There are no strings attached. We firmly believe 1 Corinthians 12:7, that God sets the members in the church “as He sees fit.”

“What about my kids? Can they attend the launch team meeting?” You bet! Children are welcome. Child care will be provided... And if your kids want to sit in on the actual launch team meeting, they’re welcome to sit in on that, as well. We believe God uses kids and kids are a vital part of what God is going to do through a2. Hey, we’ve got some of those ourselves...

“What about teenagers? What about high school students?” We not only “need” high school students, we “WANT” high school students to be a part of a2 from the “get go.” I’m a firm believer that students are a huge part of what God wants to do through a2... So, yes! All middle school, high school and college students are welcome to attend. We need your energy, passion for God, creativity and insight as we attempt to launch a2.

“Will there be food?” Of course! You couldn’t have a true a2 gathering without food. Refreshments will be served.

“How long will the meeting last?” Probably until about 7 or, at the latest, 7:30 p.m.... But hey, feel free to leave whenever you need to leave...

Here’s the central question: Do you “believe” God has called you to be a part of the “core group” that will help make a2 church a reality? Then, we need you!

Once again, this meeting is HUGE... COLOSSAL! Did I say, “BIG”?

If you feel God may be leading you to unite with the launch ministry of a2 and you’re NOT a part of another local church, make plans to join us for our first launch team meeting this Sunday, May 18 at 5:30 p.m.
